Johanna loves the cats! She chases them around and says "kitty". The cats are so patient with her, especially Sierra. She lets Johanna hug her and lay with her. These are some of the pictures that we captured between the two of them. Johanna loves her kitty sisters and always wants to pet them.

So we went to a petting zoo today with gram and pappy Rydbom at Blands Park Harvest Fest. We had a great time. Johanna ate plenty of french fries and loved them! She especially loved her ketchup (which was all over her face). The petting zoo was a great time, she loved being with the animals, she was a little scared at first but then warmed right up. She gave them hugs and petted all of them. She did not want to leave, she said "no" when I asked her to leave but blew the animals kisses when we left. She is such an animal lover!

My Beautiful Girl!

Just wanted to add some of these pictures..I think she looks beautiful in them. She loves getting her picture taken and I love taking her picture. I cannot believe she is 17 months old, I do not know where the time went. She is saying so many new things. She is saying kitty, peas... (please:)), uh oh, ouch, choo choo, pappy, shoes, up, mommy, bear, duck, moo moo, she comes up with new words each day. It is such a great adventure and it has went by so fast.

Hollidaysburg Haul!

So I ran in the Hollidaysburg Haul 5 k today and I got my best time yet to date at a 5k race! I got 27:11, it was about a minute and a half faster than my best time! I was happy with my time and had a great time accomplishing this with my great friends (L to R) Katie,Tiffany, Lyndsay, and Laura. They all did a great job, we all improved our times! Also, this week I ran 9 miles on my road to my half marathon on October 13th.

First Pee in the Potty....

So last night we put Johanna on the potty. She is starting to say "I poop" when she poops but does not know to go to the potty before hand. So we are starting to take her to the potty after breakfast, lunch and dinner when she is home. Last night after dinner, we put her on the potty. She was reading a book, when all of the sudden she said, "pee" and put her head down and looked at the potty. She peed in the potty:)..Yeah...It was such an acomplishment..We have a long way to go but it was her first experience being a big girl.

On Saturday night we went to the Altoona First Festival and after that we stopped by the Meadows to get dessert. Johanna started to get whiney in the back seat so we got her some icecream to "keep her happy" for the ride home. This was the first time she got raspberry icecream and judging by the pictures she loved it! I tried to take the cone away when we got home and she screamed "mine, mine"!!! So I gave it back and she finished the whole thing!

Today I was getting my fall decorations out and my cat got right in the middle of all of them! I had to take a picture. It was funny but she looked so pretty in the midst of all of them.

Johanna loves sitting on chairs at home, especially mommy and daddy's chairs. So we wanted to get her her own to sit on. The chair is perfect! It is her own size and she loves it. She climbs on it and reads and watches TV. She looks like a princess:)

8 mile mark.

So I am training for a half marathon that is going to take place on October 13th. This past Saturday I ran 8 miles (the longest I have ever ran)! I ran the whole time and it was not that bad. This saturday hopefully I will be able to run 9 to 10 miles. I will keep you posted!
